Wei Wang is an Associate Researcher at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Southeast University, and Deputy Head of the Department of New Engineering Materials. He is a Zhishan Scholar (Class A) of Southeast University and a recipient of the Jiangsu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Doctor Program. He received his Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo, Japan, and previously worked at Nagoya University and The University of Tokyo. His research interests include solid waste recycling and valorization, low-/negative-carbon cementitious materials, CO? mineralization and sequestration, and concrete durability. He has published more than 50 papers in leading journals such as Cement and Concrete Research and Cement and Concrete Composites. He serves on several RILEM technical committees, as Secretary General of the CO? in Concrete Technical Committee of the Asian Concrete Federation, as a council member of the Solid Waste and Eco-Materials Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society, and as Associate Editor for several international SCI journals.
