Liu Yanping, professor and doctoral supervisor at the High-Tech Research Institute of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She primarily engages in teaching and research on the resource recovery and energy utilization of organic solid waste, environmental risk assessment of hazardous waste, and environmental planning and management. She has led and participated in over 80 research projects commissioned by ministries and commissions such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, as well as enterprises. She has published over 100 papers, applied for and obtained over 10 invention patents, and edited 8 textbooks and monographs. She has received one first prize for scientific and technological progress at the provincial or ministerial level, one "Young Scientist Award" from the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, one second prize for outstanding engineering consulting achievements nationwide, and five other achievement awards.
