Liu Jie is the Director of the Resource Recycling Technology Center, Institute of Functional Materials, Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center. He has long been dedicated to resource recycling and research commercialization, focusing on the technological research and industrialization of solid waste utilization. He has participated in over 10 national and municipal research projects, acquired more than 20 awards, and compiled over 10 various industry standards. To date, he has filed more than 50 invention patents, with over 30 granted. He has led multiple solid waste recycling projects, including China’s first 100,000-tonne coal-chemical project for carbon-negative building materials via CO? mineralization. He has facilitated the industrialization of waste recycling technologies, contributing to approximately 2.1 billion yuan in project output, 500 million yuan in cost savings, and a total sludge treatment volume of 30 million cubic meters.
