Fei Li, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher at Sun Yat-sen University and currently serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Environment and Energy, South China University of Technology. He also holds the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the Standardization Committee of the Guangdong Society of Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on solid waste pollution control and resource recovery. He has led four research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund) and sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program of China. As a key participant, he has also been involved in six major projects, including those funded by the National Key R&D Program, the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and major industry–university–research collaboration projects in Guangzhou.He has published nearly 20 papers as first or corresponding author in internationally recognized journals such as Advanced Science, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, and Resources, Conservation & Recycling. He has authored one highly cited paper for four consecutive years, with 379 citations according to Google Scholar. He has filed 15 Chinese invention patents, of which 11 have been granted, and has received two provincial-level awards. Additionally, he supervised undergraduate students who won a provincial bronze award in the 15th “Challenge Cup” National College Student Entrepreneurship Competition.
