Rongle Xu, Female, Ph.D., primarily engaged in research on watershed pollution control and environmental management of emerging contaminants. She has served as the principal investigator for the completion of several key projects, including the “14th Five-Year Plan” for High-quality Development of Water Ecological Environment Protection in Key River Basins of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, research on ecological compensation in key river basins, surveys of the water ecological environment status of key rivers, lakes and reservoirs, as well as characterization and source tracing of antibiotic pollution in key river basins. In recent years, she has led or participated in more than 10 national and provincial/ministerial-level research projects. She has developed three Guangxi local standards and drafted one local regulation. She has received multiple provincial/ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress as well as outstanding achievements in social sciences.
