Qingliang ZHAO, Ph.D., Professor. He is working at the School of Environment, Harbin Institute of Technology. His main research interests are solid waste treatment and resource utilization, wastewater and landfill leachate treatment. He was mainly responsible for and participate in more than 20 national projects. He published more than 350 academic papers and 8 monographs/textbooks. He has obtained 6 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards and 17 national invention patents. He is the part-time environmental assessment expert in the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Drainage Committee member of the Water Industry Branch in the China civil engineering society, and an expert in Chemicals and Waste Environmental Management think tank of Basel Convention Regional Center for Asia and the Pacific.
