Minoru Fujii

Section Head
He got a Doctor of Engineering from Department of Chemical System Engineering, The University of Tokyo in 2001. Currently, he is the Head of System Innovation Section at National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES). He also serves as a Visiting Professor of Nagoya University and a Visiting Professor of The University of Tokyo. He studies an integrated waste management system, circular economy including plastics and a de-carbonized society. Recently, he founded the LCCN Promoting Association, which works with companies and local governments to promote the introduction of a system to efficiently produce plastics from waste that was previously difficult to recycle and achieve carbon neutrality.
