Academic Vice Dean of the School of Carbon Neutrality Science and Engineering at Anhui University of Science and Technology（AUST）, PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Aberdeen, UK. He presided over the establishment of SINOPEC Coal conversion Technology R & D and Technical Service Platform, and the Innovation Laboratory of Industrial Solid Waste Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) and By-product Synergy (BPS) in the 27th Research Department of Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP).

His research fields mainly involve the life cycle environmental impact assessment (EIA) and ecological risk assessment (EIA) of fossil energy exploitation and utilization, and R&D of IPPC and industrial symbiosis (IS), Green and low-carbon integrated governance of diversified industrial waste from fossil fuels and mine-site ecological environment restoration technologies. He has presided over and undertaken over 30 projects, including the projects of Scientific and Research Plans at National, Provincial & Ministerial and Large-scale Enterprise Groups levels, National Natural Science Foundation projects in China, and other projects in the fields of European and American industrial IPPC, industrial by-product synergy (BPS). Currently serving as an expert in the Chemicals and Waste Environmental Management Think-tank of the Basel Convention Asia Pacific Regional Center of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), an executive member of the Solid Hazardous Waste and Soil Pollution Control Special Committee of the China Environmental Protection Federation(CEPF), a member of the Expert Committee of the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks in China (GPIPC) , and a member of the Carbon Neutrality Science and Engineering Special Committee of the China Coal Society (CCS) etc.
