Ren Fumin, professor and doctoral supervisor, also serves as a member of the Building Environment Division of the Chinese Environmental Protection Society and an environmental expert of the Ministry of Railways. His main research areas include precise control of construction waste, resource and environmental attributes of construction waste and disposal technology system, construction of waste-free cities, solid waste disposal and resource utilization. He serves as the chief expert for the National Key R&D Program on "precise control of construction waste", and as a technical support expert for "waste-free city" construction, providing technical consulting services for Shenzhen, Xiongan New Area, Xuchang City, and Weihai City. He has published over 40 academic papers, issued 8 industry/group standards, and published 5 books; has obtained 4 invention patents/utility model patents; and has received honors such as the Railway Environmental Protection Award of the Chinese Railway Society, the Third Prize for Technological Progress of the Chinese Railway Society, and the Third Prize for Technological Progress of the Chinese Academy of Railway Sciences.
