Dongmin WANG

Professor
Dongmin Wang is a professor in chemical engineering, materials science, civil and environmental disciplines at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), and the Director of the Institute of Concrete and Environmental Materials. He serves as the Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program of China. Professor Wang currently holds several prominent positions, including Executive Council Member of the Chinese Ceramic Society, Chair of the Solid Waste and Eco-Materials Division, Vice President of RILEM China, and Founding Editor-in-Chief of Materials Reports: Solid Waste and Eco-Materials.
He has long been dedicated to the research of the resource utilization of industrial, mining, and municipal solid wastes, as well as the development and application of eco-friendly building materials. He was among the first to introduce and promote the concept of "Solid Waste and Eco-Materials" in China, seamlessly integrating solid waste resource utilization with the low-carbon, green, and sustainable development of cement and concrete materials.
Professor Wang has led over ten major and key national research projects, published more than 400 academic papers (H-index: 43), been granted 55 national invention patents, and authored 14 academic monographs. His research achievements have won more than ten provincial and ministerial-level awards and have been successfully applied in thousands of major structural engineering projects, including terminals at Beijing Capital International Airport.
