Engaged in theoretical and technological research on the resource utilization of industrial waste and hazardous waste related to heavy industries. More than 100 SCI papers have been published and over 30 invention patents have been obtained. For the first time in the world, a series of concepts such as heavy-duty hazardous waste, the five-point classification method for metals, three-dimensional attributes and refined grading and classification were created, and a theoretical system for the resource utilization of heavy-duty hazardous waste was constructed. It was the first to introduce membrane bioreactor (MBR) into the field of biolefins, solving the industry problems of long technology cycle and small processing capacity of biolefins. Presided over the first research on the current development status and technical demands of the national heavy hazardous waste generation and disposal industry. Led the research and development of the first set of complete equipment and process for the biological leaching-circulation enrichment of valuable metals in 100 m3 grade electroplating sludge in the heavy hazardous waste industry. A number of technologies, processes and complete sets of equipment for the high-value utilization of industrial solid waste and heavy hazardous waste developed have completed pilot tests in several fields and carried out application demonstrations.
