Jing BAI

Dr. Jing Bai holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Economics from Macau University of Science and Technology and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen).
Her research focuses on solid waste recycling and synergistic carbon-pollution control, directly supporting China’s national "Zero-Waste Cities" strategy. She employs complex systems theory and methods to model urban solid waste metabolism and resource flows during urbanization, with the goal of developing lifecycle-based synergistic pathways for pollution reduction and carbon mitigation.
Her scholarly contributions include 5 first-authored papers (including 1 as corresponding author) in leading Chinese and international journals, participation in the NSFC-FDCT joint research project, over 10 industry-sponsored projects, and recognition through the Hui Yeung Shing Foundation Scholarship.
