Mdm. Norkamawati holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. With over 29 years of extensive experience in municipal operations and regulatory enforcement, she brings strategic insight and proven leadership to the public sector.

 

In her capacity as Director of the Licensing and Municipal Services Department, her responsibility for leading the formulation, execution, and oversight of licensing policies and the administration of essential municipal services. Her mandate includes ensuring that all licensing activities for businesses, traders, hawkers, and public premises are fully compliant with local laws and regulatory standards. Tasked with maintaining excellence in urban management functions such as public cleanliness, waste disposal, and other core city services.

Mdm. Norkamawati oversees municipal service delivery through both in-house operational teams and concession service providers, ensuring performance efficiency, service reliability, and rigorous quality control. Works collaboratively across departments and engages with key stakeholders, including local communities and government agencies, to streamline coordination, resolve public complaints, and enhance overall service outcomes.
